Save The Children highlights Syrian conflict with powerful video

In an emotive new viral video campaign released to draw attention to the ongoing civil war in Syria and the effect it has on young children, Save The Children shows what a year in the life of a young British girl living in war torn London would be like.

The video shows how people’s lives can be turned upside down in mere months, and urges UK viewers to pay proper attention to the crisis as if it were happening in their native London.

The ad closes with the hard-hitting words: ‘Just because it isn’t happening here, doesn’t mean it isn’t happening’.

Racking up more than 4 million views in just over 24 hours, the campaign is yet another example of charities using emotive digital marketing for the right reasons, the video hits home and donations that come from it may hopefully help some small way in improving the lives of more than 1 million of Syria’s refugee children.
