Charity retail system shortlisted for prestigious European IT award

Cybertill, a leading UK charity retail system, has been nominated for best SaaS solution of the year at The IT Europa European IT & Software Excellence Awards 2014. Cybertill was shortlisted with Hospice in the Weald, a charity retailer with over 20 stores.

The Cybertill technology has helped Hospice in the Weald increasing gift-aid revenues and average basket value in store whilst delivering a quicker than expected return on investment.

“Advanced Gift Aid has changed the way charities approach retail,” explained Ian Tomlinson, Cybertill CEO. “Cybertill’s Advanced Gift Aid has helped Hospice in the Weald in many different ways as well as increasing its revenues. Indeed Advanced Gift Aid has become the new standard in charity retail, with almost one in three charity shops using Cybertill in the UK.”

Cybertill competed with companies across 25 countries to be shortlisted, and according to IT Europa’s Managing Director, Alan Norman. “The quality of entries was extremely high and demonstrated the depth of talent in European IT and Telecoms channels. And there was a definite shift in the nature of the entries this year, with real-world applications delivering clear returns, even in some sophisticated and demanding environments.”

The awards will be held on the 26th March 2014 at the Lancaster Hotel in London.
