Third Sector: Give your views on digital fundraising

Readers are invited to take part in a short survey designed to reveal the lastest trends in digital fundraising in charities and the voluntary sector.

The Digital Giving Review 2012 is being conducted by Give as you Live, the website that allows online shoppers to direct contribution from the retailer to their chosen charities.

The questions cover digital donation, use of social media and the challenges of online fundraising. To take part, visit www.giveasyoulive.com/survey.

The results will be announced at the annual convention of the Institute of Fundraising from 2 to 4 July. Full details will be published in Convention Daily, the newspaper produced at the convention by Third Sector.

Third Sector Digital Campaign of the Week: War on Want

Third Sector magazine has chosen a new campaign by War on Want as it's digital campaign of the week.

The charity is applying pressure to Adidas the offical sponsor for the London Olympics to review the way its suppliers treat their employees.

A powerful 91 second video tells the story of Anisha, highlighting the exploitation of these workers face around the world. Further resources are available from the landing page, which also features a large 'donate now' button on the right. An external site is used to set up a regular Direct Debit payment (www.edirectdebit.com/waronwant), whereas an integrated form is used to collect the donors details for a one off donation.

Watch the video:  Exploitation. It’s not ok here. It’s not ok anywhere.
